RECORDS ADMINISTRATOR
(Evidence Room)
The Records Administrator assigned to the Evidence Room for the District Attorney’s Office is responsible for receiving, disseminating and preserving evidence in all criminal cases within the office. The Records Administrator is also responsible for maintaining a database of all evidence received within and disseminated from the District Attorney’s Office.
Essential Functions:
- Oversees the storage, retention and destruction of records and/or evidence
- Assists in developing operating policies and procedures for records administration and control
- Investigates, researches, analyzes and resolves issues and problems with records and case files
- Oversees the storage, retention and destruction of records and evidence.
- Maintains records and documentation pertaining to evidence received and disseminated from the evidence room
- Assists the attorneys and investigators with receiving and disseminating evidence in their cases
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of criminal justice
- Knowledge of court practices and procedures, and methods and techniques used to conduct criminal investigations
- Knowledge of the safe use and care of firearms and other standard and specialized law enforcement equipment
- Knowledge of personal computers and related software
- The ability to prioritize and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Excellent oral communication skills
- The ability to work independently and with a group
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in business, public administration or a related field
- At least five (5) years experience in law enforcement and/or criminal investigations
- POST certification required

Commercial Sexual Exploitation
of Children & Adults
(Human Trafficking for Sexual Servitude
& Sexual Exploitation of

and/or Distribution of Child Pornography)
The Office of the Fulton
County District Attorney is seeking an experienced attorney to be assigned to
the Crimes Against Women & Children Unit, working exclusively with the Commercial
Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adults. This is a two year grant
paid position. Essential Duties:
- Managing a large caseload of complex felony cases involving Human Trafficking
for Sexual Servitude & Sexual Exploitation of Minors through the Possession
and/or Distribution of Child Pornography
- Interviewing victims and
witnesses
- Working with law enforcement in the preparation of cases
- Participating
in local Task Forces and Multidisciplinary Teams, to include the Governor’s
Office of Families & Children
- Attending ICAC (Internet Crimes Against
Children) meetings at the GBI
- Meeting with the District Attorney to discuss
cases
- Preparing cases for indictment, and presenting them to the Grand
Jury
- Preparing and arguing Motions and other matters in court once cases
are indicted
- Preparing cases for trial, and conducting jury trials on
assigned cases
- Providing training to law enforcement and Department of
Family & Children Services employees as needed
- Providing awareness
training to Community Organizations and local Schools as requested
- Gathering
statistics and preparing written reports
Essential

- Excellent working knowledge of Lexis-Nexis
- Ability
to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment;

- Experience
working on crimes involving Sexual Assaults and Crimes against Children preferred
Qualifications:
- A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Must be a member
in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia or be in good standing of another
state’s bar association that is eligible for reciprocity admittance to the
State Bar of Georgia.
- Five (5) years experience working in a prosecutor’s
office

an Assistant District Attorney. A minimum of three years of litigation
experience in criminal law or related areas is required. Must be a member in good
standing with the Georgia Bar or be a member in good standing of another state's
bar association that is eligible for reciprocity admittance to the Georgia Bar.
Fluent in Spanish is a plus. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

serve as an Assistant District Attorney assigned to the Complaint
Room. The Complaint Room serves as the central intake center for all felony crimes
committed in Fulton County and operates on a 24/7 basis. Candidate must be willing
to work evening, midnight and weekend shifts depending upon the current needs

The Office of the Fulton County District Attorney is seeking an experienced
Investigator. Duties and responsibilities will include gathering evidence
used in the apprehension, indictment or prosecution, and conviction of law violators;
conducting routine felony case investigations; interviewing complainants, suspects,
and witnesses involved in felony cases and evaluates their statements; preparing
investigative reports; assisting other law enforcement agencies in the investigation
of various violations; participating in dangerous case assignments, including
raids, arrests and undercover assignments and preparing cases for hearing and
trial. This position requires knowledge of principles and practices of criminal
justice, public safety, and customer service; federal, state, and local criminal
laws and codes; court practices and procedures; methods and techniques used to
conduct criminal investigations; safe use and care of firearms and other standard
and specialized law equipment and a knowledge of personal computers and related
software. Applicant must possess the following skills: conducting effective interviews
and interrogations, using and maintaining firearms, drawing sketches to scale,
preparing and presenting oral and written communication/reports; communication
and interpersonal techniques and applicant must be able to establish and maintain
effective working relationships with the County personnel, officials, and the
general public. Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in a criminal justice
related field and four (4) years experience in law enforcement or in performing
criminal investigations. In addition, this position requires POST certification
and a valid Georgia driver's license. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

entry-level Victim/Witness Advocate acts as the first point of
contact between the District Attorney’s Office and victims/witnesses. As
the first point of contact, advocates are responsible for contacting victims (primarily
by phone), providing information regarding the criminal justice system, notifying
them of upcoming court dates, notifying them of their rights under the Victim’s
Bill of Rights, making referrals for services to appropriate service providers,
and providing assistance with filing Victim’s Compensation and with recovering
restitution. He/She is also responsible for entering data relating to their victim
